DSG5000 Series Rf Signal Generators

The DSG5000 Series RF Source combines up to 8 channels in a single system. All channels can be controlled from the touch screen interface. Channels generate up to 20 GHz signals with amplitude, frequency, phase, and pulse modulation capabilities. The DSG5000 has excellent long-term channel-to-channel phase stability at +/- 1%. Combine multiple channels of accurate, phase-stable RF carriers for demanding research applications with the new DSG5000.

Highest accuracy for long-term verification

Compared with competitive solutions, the DSG5000 demonstrates excellent long-term stability. Measured at 10 GHz with a temperature variation of < 1˚C, the phase stability can be measured at less than 1˚ of phase deviation over 72 hours.

Space-saving solution for large systems

The DSG5000 is a 2 U full rack instrument. Models can have up to 8 independent RF channels. Channel density is 8 times greater than the DSG3000B series. This makes the DSG5000 an excellent solution for complex multi-channel and system-level applications.

The extended frequency range for complex applications

The DSG5000 can generate up to 20 GHz carriers with high signal fidelity and standard functions, including amplitude, frequency, phase, and pulse modulations. 

The instrument model supports up to 8 channels, with each channel independent of the other and independently controlled. Multiple devices can be integrated into rack-mount installation, saving space and time.

Self-equipped Touch Screen

The DSG5000 series is equipped with a touch screen, enabling you to operate and control the instrument with touch-enabled gestures. It does not have any physical keys on the front panel to work except the power key.

Externally Connected Display

The DSG5000 series allows you to externally connect the display (e.g., PAD, monitor, and projector) via the HDMI interface to enjoy a user-friendly operation and viewing experience with a more excellent choice of display devices.

Web Control Remote Operation

You only need to input the IP address of the DSG5000 series into the web browser’s address bar to open the Web Control software.

The display of the current user interface shown on the web control page is consistent with that in the DSG5000 series. To operate the instrument remotely, you can use the mouse to click the menus in the Web Control Interface. In the Web Control interface, you can click to view the basic information of the device, and you can also set or modify the network status. 

The DSG5000 series supports the standard SCPI command set. You can send the SCPI commands via the USB or LAN interface to realize remote control of the instrument. Moreover, you can use Excel, LabVIEW, Visual Basic, Visual C++, and relevant programming tools to send commands in batches automatically to meet the demands of automation test scenarios.
