RF Signal Generator (9 kHz – 13.6 GHz)
The Siglent SSG5000A microwave signal generator supports AM/FM/PM modulation, and pulse modulation (option) and features a pulse train generator (option), power meter control, and much more. It also includes an OCXO reference hardware module to ensure high precision, and high stability signal output. Applications include communications, aerospace, national defense, R&D, and many other fields.
Pulse modulation (option SSG5080A-PU)
With this option, the SSG5000A is able to modulate an RF carrier signal with a pulse signal as the modulation signal.

Pulse train generator (option SSG5080A-PT)
The SSG5000A series features an optional pulse train generator which can deliver up to 2047 pulses per trigger.
- Number of pulses: 1 – 2047
- Number of repetitions per pulse: 1 – 65535
- Pulse on time and off time setting range: 20 ns – 300 s
- Pulse on time and off time setting resolution: 10 ns
100dB attenuator module (option SSG5080A-LP)
The SSG5000A can also be equipped with an optional 100 dB step attenuator, ranging from 0 to 110 dB in 10dB steps. Please note this is a factory-installed option.
