The SPM Vibration 4-20mA vibration transmitters are accelerometers that provide a 4-20mA output signal proportional to the true RMS value of vibration velocity. The transmitters can be connected to common process control systems (PLC, DCS). The transmitters feature a unique microcontroller design and calibration data stored in the sensor. The electrical signal is isolated from the transmitter housing. The transmitters operate by using power from a standard 4-20mA loop, no additional power is necessary. The transmitter is installed on a flat machine surface. For mechanical fastening, mounting studs (available as accessories) with thread size M6, M8, M10, or UNF 1/4in are used. The connection of the mounting studs is made through a tapped hole with an M8 thread on the transmitter.

SPM vibration transmitters come in a variety of sizes, configurations, and specifications to match user needs. All transmitters are internally isolated and have an operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C (-40 to +185°F). The frequency range is specified for the transmitter when permanently installed. The measuring results will be affected at higher frequencies when using a magnetic foot.
