Vibration Transducer (3-1000Hz, 1.2mV/m/s2, M8 Thread)
The SPM transducers TRV-18 and TRV-19 are piezo-electric accelerometers of compression type with built-in preamplifier, designed for vibration monitoring of industrial machinery. They are used in permanent installations with the CMM System, Intellinova and MG-4. The cable length between transducer and measuring unit is max. 50m (165 ft).
The transducer is mounted against a smooth, flat surface on the machine. TRV-18 has thread size M8 and TRV-19 has UNF 1/4in-28. The transducers are delivered with three washers for adjusting the connector angle. Each washer turns the transducer 90°. The coaxial cable with TNC connector must be secured with a clamp close to the transducer. In moist environments, use sealing TNC cable plugs to prevent cable corrosion. For electric insulation, use insulation foot TRX-18/TRX-19.
