Especially for ECU designers, this bundle provides outstanding system visibility for validations and troubleshooting. It includes support for important automotive protocols, and serial standards compliance testing and debugging.

This option adds the functionality listed below to a 4 Series MSO.

• Decode and trigger on I2C, SPI, RS232/422/485/UART bus activity
• Includes an integrated arbitrary/function generator with 13 predefined functions and arbitrary waveforms
• Extend record length to 62.5 million sample points per channel
• Automotive serial triggering and analysis (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay)
• SENT serial decoding and analysis
• CXPI serial decoding and analysis
• I3C serial decoding and analysis
• PSI5 serial decoding and analysis
• Wide bandgap SiC/GaN double pulse test measurements

If you are purchasing this option to upgrade a unit that you already own, please provide the instrument model and serial number at purchase time. This may be done using the order notes box on step 2 of the online checkout process. If placing a phone order, please reply to the order confirmation email with the model and serial number. If using a purchase order, please provide the information on the PO.

The model and serial number will be sent to the manufacturer to generate a unique software option key used to upgrade the instrument. That key will be emailed to you. You will then enter the key using your instrument’s virtual keyboard. See linked instructions in the Manuals/Guides section of this webpage for further details.
