Made from a unique combination of silicone rubber and carbon, the Silicone-Rubber Brush Electrode meets many different requirements and applications, both on pipe and off. The electrode is used to inspect weld joints on the outside or coatings applied to the inside of pipelines. It can also be used to inspect the inside and outside of tanks, rail cars, concrete structures, or nearly any conductive substrate with a non-conductive coating.
Several sizes available
Tinker & Rasor offers its Silicone-Rubber Brush Electrode in a variety of widths. The chart below provides an overview of part numbers and corresponding sizes.
It also offers part number 055-015, which is a 1/8″ x 36″ x 48″ conductive silicone rubber sheet.
