The Triplett CM1070-NIST is a true RMS clamp meter that can measure AC and DC current up to 1000A without breaking the circuit by clamping around a single conductor. This model includes a Certificate of Traceability to NIST. True RMS provides better accuracy when measuring non-sinusoidal or noisy waveforms. The CM1070 also includes Dual Type-K input for superheat and differential temperature measurement and uA current for HVAC flame rod measurement.

Additional measurements include resistance, capacitance, frequency, temperature, diode test, and continuity. Measurements can be read on the dual 50,000-count backlit LCD screen. Features include an NCV detector with LED, built-in flashlight, peak voltage measurement, min/max and data hold, low battery indication, and auto power off (can be disabled).

The CM1070 adheres to CAT IV, 600V safety standards and comes with test leads, type-K thermocouple bead probes (2), a 9V battery, a carrying case, and a Certificate of Traceability to N.I.S.T.
