Heat Stress Index/WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) Datalogger
The Triplett HSDL300 is a heat stress WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) meter that monitors indoor or outdoor heat stress to help limit the danger of heat-related injury. It simultaneously displays air temperature or globe temperature, humidity, and WBGT. The HSDL300’s memory stores up to 12,000 readings, each containing air temperature, humidity, WBGT, and globe temperature. Stored readings are transferred to a PC via a USB interface.
The HSDL300 can be programmed to sample at a rate of 1, 5, 10, 60, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. It features a programmable audible and visual WBGT alarm and a backlight that changes color as the WGBT value increases (Green/Yellow/Red/Flashing Red). The In/Out function switch measures WGBT with or without the effects of direct sunlight.

Backlight Indication of WGBT Value
No backlight: below 80°F (26.7°C)
Green: 80 to 85°F (26.7 to 29°C)
Yellow: 85 to 88°F (29.4 to 31°C)
Red: 88 to 90°F (31 to 32.2°C)
Flashing Red: above 90°F (32.2°C)
