The Velp Scientifica OV625 Digital is a powerful digital disperser designed for homogenization, emulsification, suspensions, and high-speed mixing of biological tissues, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food products. The OV 625 Digital incorporates cutting-edge technologies and high levels of engineering expertise, to ensure high shearing force and performance for a wide range of applications.

The OV625 Digital includes the digital disperser and tool disassembly kit only; Dispersing tools and Stand are sold separately. The OV625 Digital System includes the digital disperser, tool disassembly kit, double rod mini H-stand set and D20-S20C-P-R205 dispersing tool. 

The bright and intuitive 3-digit LED display and the rotating knob enable precise electronic speed settings and control between 3,000 and 25,000 rpm.

The control panel is designed to optimize the user experience: the speed parameter is visible at a glance to provide excellent visibility in every working condition. 

Various safety features provide maximum protection for the user. Once the set point speed is set, the OV 625 Digital ensures a soft start-up to reach the desired speed gradually. Additionally, several alarms inform the operator in case of overload and overtemperature.

The resistant and rugged housing protects all internal electronic components and enables proper operations in the most challenging conditions.

Choosing the proper dispersing tool is crucial to achieve the best performance and high reproducibility. A variety of dispersing tools are available (sold separately).

A dispersing tool consists of a rotor which rotates at high speed within a stationary stator. The region between the rotor tip and stator gap is called the shear gap. Due to the high circumferential speed, the medium is drawn axially into the dispersion head and then forced radially through the slots in the shear gap, breaking the particles.

Velp dispersing tools are manufactured with stainless steel and fit with a PTFE seal to be chemically compatible with different samples and reagents.

Different types of dispersing tools are required to process different fluids. Sometimes it is necessary to use two dispersing tools to achieve specific requirements. The OV625 Digital is equipped with a knob and quick installation system making it possible to easily change the dispersing tool and be ready for the next application.
