The Desco 09201 Jewel MagSnap Adjustable Metal Wrist Strap (Red-White-Blue) offers a superior electrical connection to eliminate intermittent failures of traditional snaps. It maintains a 1-5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects and increase safety. It is used with a coil cord to create a path-to-ground for an operator with resistance <3.5 x 10⁷ ohms per the required limits of ANSI/ESD S20.20, tested per ANSI/ESD S1.1 or ESD TR53. This wrist strap is designed to allow the operator to adjust the size (circumference: 5.5″ – 13″) of their wrist. Its bright colors allow the supervisor to see that the worker is wearing a wrist strap. It creates a more reliable path-to-ground2 for the operator and the solid material will provide a consistent 1-5 pound release to prevent accidental disconnects between wristband and cord. The 09201 wrist strap is date-coded so that the lifespan of the product may tracked and to ensure quality control. It meets UL requirements to ensure operator safety.
