The Eclipse Tools SS-988E is a 6-in-1 multifunction soldering and desoldering station with a soldering iron, desoldering gun, auto tip cleaner, smoke absorber with LED light, and 2-in-1 solder stand with cleaning ball and sponge. The USB power output port (5V, 1A) can be used to charge a phone or other device. The SS-988E offers a temperature range of 320°F – 896°F (160°C – 480°C) and 250W maximum power. The temperature can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

The included soldering iron (60W/160°C – 480°C) has a ceramic heating element and provides high efficiency, and quick heat up (22 seconds to 300°C). The iron accepts 5SI-216N series tips. One tip, 5SI-216N-B is included. The automatic tip cleaner provides solder removal (7mm) and oxide removal (10mm).

The included desoldering gun (130W heater, 50W pump/160°C – 480°C) has a 4-wire ceramic heating element. The three included nozzles are 0.0mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm.

The adjustable smoke absorber features an LED with a sliding shade to protect the users’ eyes. The absorber kills the smoke and filters the noise. Two activated carbon filters are included (one piece mounted).
