This package contains a Fieldpiece VP67 vacuum pump (6 CFM), one quart of oil and a large diameter Appion hose for faster evacuations, up to 16x faster than an 0.25” hose. The Appion MH120006EAK MegaFlow hose has a 0.5” diameter and is 6’ long with 3/8FL to 1/4FL fittings.

Vacuum certified hoses do not collapse or permeate and are evacuated and tested after production.

These new pumps optimize the revolutionary RunQuick Oil Management System with an extra bottle and a massive backlit, removable window. Good oil is a key ingredient of every evacuation. Clearly view the pump oil to see the condition of the oil and the system. Use only 8 ounces and replace the oil in under 20 seconds, even while the pump is running, without losing vacuum. When it’s time to change the oil, it’s quick, clean and easy.

The window for viewing oil quality is backlit in the signature Fieldpiece blue and is also removable for cleaning of the window and the oil reservoir. An extra empty oil bottle included for all models, and seating of (holding in place) the oil bottle is much easier to minimize oil dripping in the oil change process.

Each pump model contains four connection ports – 1/4″, 3/8″ and 1/2″. This enables the pump to accommodate multiple hose diameters, providing technicians with more options. Techs are able to use what hoses are easy and available for the size of the AC compressor.

A2L certification by a third party, (Fieldpiece used CSA Canada Standards Association) is going to be required around the world in the next few years due to global regulations on refrigerants. The world has already been migrating through generations of refrigerants to address known negative impacts on the environment. New refrigerants while better for the environment, are more flammable. Therefore, certain products like vacuum pumps have to be tested and certified to be safe to use around the new more flammable refrigerants. A2L certification of Fieldpiece tools means it was designed and tested and certified by a third party to work with the next generation of refrigerants that are already being mandated in EU and APAC regions and soon in the Americas.
