Hakko FM2024-02 – Desoldering Tool Handpiece

The Hakko FM-2024 is a desoldering tool handpiece which is compatible for use with the following Hakko stations:

• FM-206/205/204
• FM-203/202
• FP-102

Please note, the FM-2024 requires connection to a compatible station – it is not self-contained. For a self-contained desoldering gun, please see the Hakko FR-301.

When added to the FM-203, FM-202 or FP-102, additional products including the optional C1492 desoldering control module are required, as well as an external source of compressed air.

The FM-204, FM-205 and FM-206 do not require the C1492.

Hakko offers the FM-2024 in a variety of packages to suit different user applications, whether buying a replacement tool for an FM-206/205/204 or adding desoldering functionality to an FM-203.

Building on Hakko’s revolutionary composite tip technology, the desoldering nozzle/tip heater cartridge assembly offers a one-step, quick-change design with fast thermal recovery; the enlarged throat and shortened nozzle design is virtually non-cloggable, making it ideal for NO LEAD applications; and its slender body enables it to reach those difficult-to-reach component pads on densely populated boards.

The Hakko FM-2024 features an extremely lightweight, reconfigurable handpiece that allows the user the option to use the tool as either a gun or pencil style handpiece by simply removing or adding the handle.
