The Hakko FM204-01 is a single port soldering and desoldering station which includes an FM-2024 desoldering tool. The FM-2024 is compatible with N3 nozzles. Please note, nozzles are sold separately.

The FM-204 contains a built in pump for vacuum generation – an external source of compressed air is not required for operation. The FM-2024 desoldering tool can be converted from either a pencil or gun style and uses quick change nozzles to make your workflow fast and convenient. In addition, the station activates sleep mode when a tool is returned to its holder, helping to maximize the lifespan of tips and nozzles.

A main differentiator between the FM-204 and FM-205 is how vacuum is generated. The FM-204 contains a built-in pump and does not require an external source of compressed air. The FM-205 does not have a built-in pump. The FM-205 requires an external source of compressed air, however, it is able to generate greater pressure and airflow.
