The Hakko FX972-010 is a dual port soldering station with FX-9701 soldering iron and FH-215 stand. The FX-9701 is compatible with T39 tips. Please note, tips are sold separately.

The Hakko FX-972 Dual-Port Soldering Station is a next-generation high-performance 200W soldering station that supports a wide range of new handpieces and derives itself from the best parts of the FM-203. The FX-972 station uses a minimal footprint design that allows multiple units to be stacked to conserve bench space and includes a new easy-to-read display that is more than 3 times larger than the FM-203 and displays set temperature and sensor temperature simultaneously. The operation and setup are similar to the FM-203 but the interface is redesigned to be intuitive and includes new features such as an IR auto offset when using the FG-100B Tip Thermometer or FG-101B Station Tester, a preset mode that allows easy selection of up to 5 user programmable presets, 3-letter passcode lock for process control, and user selectable sleep temperature. The HAKKO FX-972 also includes a USB interface that allows the station to be set up, controlled, and monitored from a PC using the HAKKO Control Software that is included with the station.

The FX-972 is compatible with eight different handpieces, including standard, micro, and heavy-duty irons, as well as tweezers and nitrogen-compatible tools.
