The Hakko HJ4000-SET is a full SMD rework system with rework fixture, hot air station and preheater.
 

HJ4000 rework fixture

The Hakko HJ4000 SMD rework fixture is a cost effective solution for manual SMD rework using split vision alignment precision and can be used with select Hakko hot air rework stations and IR preheaters for a complete low cost SMD rework system.

The HJ4000 fixture is designed for the printed circuit board to remain stationary while the head assembly is moved to accomplish the x, y and theta alignment. The gantry and frame base is constructed with lightweight extruded aluminum for cost efficiency and accuracy, while high precision linear bearings offer smooth x, y and z positioning.

Other features include quick release brakes for quick positioning, and fine adjustment controls for perfect alignment, +/- 100 microns, including theta.

The Z axis has a safety stop to limit movement and prevent the nozzle from contacting the top surface of the printed circuit board when lowered into position.

SPLIT-VISION SYSTEM

The split-vision alignment capability of the HJ4000 allows you to accurately place SMD components as large as 45mm square down to 1mm square. And real-time viewing of the alignment is accomplished using a high-resolution color camera, lens and prism system.

Use the high-quality macro video lens for close-focusing up to 6X optical zoom, while the camera module features a 10X digital zoom capability.

The bottom-side of the component is illuminated with “white” dimmable LED lighting while the target location on the PCB is illuminated with “blue” dimmable LED lighting. Top and bottom lighting are then independently adjusted to provide optimal contrast for the user between the two images.
 

FR811-04 hot air station

The FR-811 is a complete SMD rework system, featuring dual thermocouple inputs for part and board monitoring, PC integration via USB port with Hakko software, an additional external USB port for flash drive memory for storage of profiles, onboard storage of up to 50 profiles, manual and auto modes, auto teach mode for profiling, password lockout, and lots more!

• Automatic mode gives users the ability to fully program profiles with up to 6 stages

FR872-03 preheater

The FR-872 is a low profile, bench-top PCBoard preheater designed to elevate the temperature of printed circuit board assemblies so that components on them can be soldered and desoldered more easily, and with improved results. This is particularly useful on medium to high-mass board assemblies, which can “heat-sink” a significant amount of energy being supplied by a soldering iron tip, or handheld hot air tool. The FR-872 is particularly useful when soldering Pb-Free assemblies.
