CLAMP ON AC/DC HiTESTER 3288-20. This compact, low-profile, lightweight instrument features True RMS measurement, allowing it to accommodate distorted wave input. It can also measure large AC and DC currents of up to 1,000 A. The introduction expands HIOKI?s product line by bringing a True RMS model to the company?s 3280 Series, which has also been popular for its compact, low-profile, lightweight design.

True RMS measurement

The 3288-20 features True RMS measurement, allowing it to accurately measure current input despite distortion caused by a poor power supply environment or other issues. This capability makes the instrument an excellent choice for use in inverter inspection and maintenance applications.

With dimensions of 57 (W) ? 180 (H) ? 16 (D) mm, a weight of just 150 g, and a low-profile cross-section, the 3288-20 is exceptionally portable.

Measurement of large currents up to 1,000 A (AC/DC)

Thanks to its ability to measure large currents of up to 1,000 A, the 3288-20 is well suited for use in applications such as inspection and maintenance of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) emergency batteries and train motors.
