The JBC CP-1QF is part of the JBC Compact series and includes the AM120-A adjustable micro tweezer. The CP-1QF is ideal for soldering and rework of many types of surface mount components, including chips and small/medium SOP and dual line components.
Features and Connections
The JBC Most Efficient Soldering System
The CP-1QF features intelligent sleep and hibernation modes to both streamline your workflow, as well as extend tip life.
1. Work
When the tool is lifted from the stand the tip will heat up to the selected temperature.
2. Sleep
When the tool is in the stand, the temperature falls to the preset sleep temperature.
3. Hibernation
After longer periods of inactivity, the power is cut off and the tool cools down to room temperature.
These features help to extend tip life lowering the temperature while the tool is not being used. JBC tips last 5 times longer than other brands thanks to the Exclusive Heating System and Sleep & Hibernation mode.
Heating system principles
- JBC systems can reach 350°C (662°F) in only 2 seconds, while others need between 10 and 90 seconds
- The fully integrated thermal sensor to the heater ensures an extremely quick temperature recovery
- The compact element optimizes heat transfer by reducing the thermal barriers.
