The JBC CS-2F is a Compact series desoldering station which includes the DS360-A micro desoldering iron. This system contains an electric pump, therefore, shop air is not required for operation. The CS-2F is the perfect station for precision desoldering jobs of THT components and SMD pad cleaning and can provide up to 40W of power. Please note, this is a 230 volt product and not designed for use in the United States. If you are in the US, please see CS-1F.
Features and Connections
The JBC Most Efficient Soldering System
The CS-2F features intelligent sleep and hibernation modes to both streamline your workflow, as well as extend tip life.
1. Work
When the tool is lifted from the stand the tip will heat up to the selected temperature.
2. Sleep
When the tool is in the stand, the temperature falls to the preset sleep temperature.
3. Hibernation
After longer periods of inactivity, the power is cut off and the tool cools down to room temperature.
These features help to extend tip life lowering the temperature while the tool is not being used. JBC tips last 5 times longer than other brands thanks to the Exclusive Heating System and Sleep & Hibernation mode.
Heating system principles
- JBC systems can reach 350°C (662°F) in only 2 seconds, while others need between 10 and 90 seconds
- The fully integrated thermal sensor to the heater ensures an extremely quick temperature recovery
- The compact element optimizes heat transfer by reducing the thermal barriers.
