Oberon 8 Cal HRC2 Electric Vehicle Arc Flash and Shock Kit

This EV Arc Flash Kit provides everything needed to protect a worker while doing maintenance on an electric car or truck. It comes equipped with an Oberon hard cap and TCG face shield, balaclava, coveralls with escape strap, Class 0 glove kit, safety glasses, earplugs, and storage bucket. The 10-foot-long Kevlar strap, with a tensile strength of 3500 lbs, is permanently affixed to the coveralls to aid in an all-in-one solution for communication or rescue. A convenient pocket is placed on the back of the coveralls to safely tuck away the strap when not in use. The waterproof bucket comes equipped with a locking top to keep the kit dry and protected from harsh elements.

The Kit meets ANSI /ISEA 125 Level 2 Conformity and Arc Flash PPE Category 2 standards with an arc rating of 8cal/cm2. Please refer to NFPA 70E or CSA Z462 Standards for specific selection requirements.

True Color Grey (TCG) is a medium-density filter that allows all wavelengths of visible light to pass through without causing any color distortion. The end result is a nearly clear experience for the worker when performing complex electrical tasks. With the advent of this new technology, electrical workers will no longer struggle to see colored wires or colored electrical tape while working energized.
