The PCE-THB 40 is a digital thermometer that measures and records ambient temperature, relative humidity, and atmospheric or barometric pressure. Measured values are displayed in real-time on the large LCD screen. Recorded values are stored on an internal SD memory card in real time. The measurement sampling rate can be adjusted with data captured every 5, 10, 30, 60, 120, 300, or 600 seconds or automatically when there is a change of ±1 º, ±1 % RH or ±1 hPa. Recorded data is stored as Excel compatible .XLS file. The data can be transferred via the included SD card for evaluation or via an optional USB data cable and software for live visualization (sold separately).

The compact PCE-THB 40 digital thermometer with large memory (up to 16 GB SDHC card) is primarily used for long-term registration in the food sector (refrigerated counters in department stores, refrigerated transports, warehouses) and for measurement and recording in industrial sectors (heating and cooling processes, machine temperatures, product storage).
