Provides a durable worksurface that does not generate a static charge and will control the discharge rate from all conductors (including ESD susceptible items) placed on the surface. Made from durable 0.080” thick 2-layer rubber with a smooth dissipative top layer and a conductive black bottom layer. It will not melt or burn when coming into contact with hot solder and soldering irons making it ideal to be around soldering applications with flux and other chemicals. It’s resistant to degradation by inorganic acids, organic acids, reducing agents, aliphatic hydrocarbons, mineral oil, aldehydes, and amines. A nitrile rubber oil-resistant compound limits its oil absorption to improve its electrical and physical properties throughout the material’s lifespan. It sold in 50’ rolls. Grounding hardware is not included. This specification defines the technical requirements for wrist straps under the brand Techni-Pro. If not otherwise specified, the grounding snap should meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI ESD S20.20 and ESDA Standard 1.1-211.
