The Test 770-3 Premium Kit includes the Testo 770-3 TRMS Clamp Meter, batteries, 1 set of measuring cables, 1 x temperature probe (TE Type K), 1 set of crocodile clips, 1 set of micro clips, 1 x magnetic holder and 1 x transport bag, calibration protocol.

The Testo 770-3 clamp meter is the ideal clamp amperemeter for demanding measuring tasks in tight application environments. The movable pincer arm can be fully retracted into the instrument. This enables the instrument to grab tightly packed cables in a particularly accurate way. With the improved resolution, high-precision results are also generated in the lower current range. The Testo 770-3 also has an extended voltage measurement range of up to 1000 V.

In addition, more specialized applications can be handled using the clamp meter, such as starting current, power and μA measurements. The optionally available temperature adapter for thermocouple probes can be used to measure electrical parameters as well as temperatures (compatible Type K thermocouple probe can be ordered separately). The clamp amperemeter automatically detects and selects AC/DC and other parameters, such as resistance, continuity, diode, and capacitance. This makes operation easier and more reliable. The measurement values can be clearly shown on the two-part display of the clamp meter and in the Testo Smart App. The Testo 770-3 can connect to the testo Smart App and other Testo measuring instruments via Bluetooth. In the App, you can display the measurement curve as a graph on your smartphone/tablet and save and send readings directly in the report.

Smart App (Free Download) The App turns smartphone/ tablet into the display for the Testo 770-3. The display of the measured values is sent by Bluetooth via the testo Smart App on your smartphone or tablet – irrespective of the measuring location. In addition, you can use the App to create measurement reports, add photos and comments to these and send them by e-mail. To ensure that your current clamp meter is always up to date, firmware updates can be carried out quickly and easily by connecting to the testo Smart App.

The three instruments in the Testo 770 clamp meter range are ideal for current and voltage measurements in tight heat pumps and mini split systems with its compact design. The Test 770 Series features an innovative slide clamp design, grabbing the correct wire for testing is even safer given the tight spaces for testing thermistors and control panels. Automatic measurement parameter recognition with each testo clamp meter ensures safe working and eliminates the guess work when it comes to voltage measurements. The rotary dial allows more measurements such as resistance, continuity, as well as diode and capacitance, eliminating the need for multiple instruments to add to the bag.

The Testo 770-1 model is the standard version for daily measuring tasks, including starting current measurement. The Testo 770-2 contains both a μA area as well as a temperature measurement by means of an optional thermocouple adapter type K. The Testo 770-3 also calculates all output ratings and contains a Bluetooth interface that increases the flexibility of the instrument to collect more data at once to diagnosis common problems or electrical connections.
