The Weller W100P3 is a heavy-duty 3-wire soldering iron that uses CT6 series tips. This model includes the CT6F7 Tip. It uses Weller “closed loop” method of controlling maximum tip temperature. The W100P3 features portable line voltage iron – no base station required. It has a stainless steel modular plug-in heater which provides greater efficiency & versatility.
The W100P3 has a nominal heat-up time with 700°F tip is 110 seconds. The temperature is controlled by tip-600°F, 700°F, and 800°F tips available. It has a three-wire grounded cord set with nichrome wound, plug-in heating element type.
